Onion soup is a typically French cuisine recipe. It is very easy to prepare and it is a very tasty soup where we will find the sweetness of the onions mixed with the flavors of the mushrooms or other mushrooms that you prefer and the bread gratin with Comté cheese.
A delicious soup to cope with the cold of winter and to change the ones we always prepare.
For 4 people:
Ingredients:
5 onions
200 g of mushrooms
125 g of grated Comté cheese
1l ½ of vegetable or chicken broth
1 tablespoon of butter
Olive oil, salt and pepper
4 slices of bread
Preparation:
Peel the onions and cut them finely. Put a little oil and butter in the 28 cm Solid+ high saucepan and sauté the onions until lightly golden.
Season with salt and pepper, add the vegetable or chicken broth and cook for 25 minutes.
Meanwhile, clean and slice the mushrooms and sauté with a little oil in the 26 cm Mineral frying pan until golden brown and add them to the soup, cook for 5 more minutes.
Toast the bread slices and cover with the grated Comté cheese.
Preheat the oven with the grill.
Serve the onion soup in oven-safe bowls and top with a slice of bread with cheese. Leave until the cheese melts and grates a little.
