Honey chicken

Pollo con miel

We love chicken in all its versions. This honey chicken recipe is a delight, a recipe with aromas and a mix of flavors that make it a luxury dish.

As in most preparations of this type, if you prepare it the day before, much better because it will have settled and will be much richer.


  • 1kg chopped chicken
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 2 large onions
  • 1 eggplant
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 150g chopped almonds
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • 150ml white wine

  1. Cut the onion into julienne strips and peel the garlic cloves.
  2. we put In our MINERAL saucepan , add plenty of olive oil and brown the whole garlic, then add the chopped onion and sauté until it is soft. This part is the base of our recipe so take your time and do it over low heat so that the onion is perfect.
  3. Once the onion is poached, add the chicken, stir well to mix and let it brown.
  4. Add the chopped eggplant and almonds, sauté until the eggplants soften.
  5. We add the wine and lower the heat. We let our sauce reduce.
  6. Once our chicken is almost ready, we add the honey and cinnamon, stir well, leave it on the heat for a few minutes and remove.
  7. We serve and enjoy this fantastic dish.
