If you have never tried it, we recommend that you do not hesitate to make this kiwi jam that has sincerely conquered us.
You can make it with either green or yellow kiwis, the only difference is that the green one is somewhat more acidic. The amount of sugar that we give you in this recipe is for the yellow kiwi, you can increase the proportion a little to make it sweeter if you make it with the green ones.
Ingredients:- 1kg. yellow kiwis
- 500g brown sugar
- juice of one lemon
- Peel and chop the kiwis, place them in the 24cm high saucepan with the sugar and lemon juice.
- Put it on the heat and when it starts to boil, lower the heat and stir from time to time to prevent it from sticking. Let it cook for about 45-50 minutes.
- After this time the jam will be ready. If you don't like finding bits in the jam, you can put it in a blender or in a Chinese blender.
- Put the jam in jars and enjoy it.
You can combine this jam with some other fruit such as plums, apples...
