Noodle Stew

Guiso de fideos

Spoon dishes are always desired, whether summer or winter, they should never be missing from any table. This fish noodle stew is a true luxury for the palate.


  • 250g shrimp
  • 500g thick noodles
  • 300g squid or fine squid
  • 200g clams
  • 1 onion
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1/2 red pepper
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tomato
  • Salt
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1l fish broth
  • A few strands of saffron


  1. We chop the onion, the peppers, peel and chop the garlic and tomato.
  2. We wash the clams well and put them in a bowl with cold water.
  3. In our 24cm Lima saucepan we put a splash of olive oil, heat it and add the onion and garlic, once soft we add the peppers, the tomato and we sauté.
  4. Once the sauce is ready, add the chopped calamari or squid and fry for a few minutes.
  5. Add the noodles, saffron, salt and stir. Then we cover with the broth and let it boil. (see manufacturer's cooking time).
  6. A few minutes before they are ready, add the clams and shrimp.
  7. We serve and enjoy a luxurious dish.
