Sticky rice with chicken

Today I'm going to teach you how to cook a delicious sticky rice! This dish is ideal for a comforting and tasty meal. We are going to prepare the rice by adding broth little by little and stirring it so that it releases its starch and becomes very creamy.

Also, don't worry if you don't have a paella pan, because this recipe is made perfectly in the MONIX® Twin Solid+ pan.

Ingredients for 4 people:

5-6 boneless chicken thighs, cut into pieces
Salt and pepper to taste
Extra virgin olive oil
2-4 cloves of garlic with skin
½ onion
1 green Italian pepper
100 ml of wine
200 g fried tomato
300 g of rice
1 liter of chicken broth
Fresh chopped parsley to decorate

Step by Step:

Preparation of chicken and vegetables:
Cut the vegetables. Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
In a frying pan, add a splash of oil and brown the chicken along with the garlic cloves. Once golden, remove and reserve.

Stir-fry:
In the same pan, sauté the cut onion and pepper until soft.
Add the wine and let it evaporate over medium-high heat.

Incorporation of tomato:

Add the fried tomato and mix well. Cook for 4-6 minutes over medium heat.

Rice preparation:
Meanwhile, heat the chicken broth to a boil. Add the rice to the pan and begin to add ladles of hot broth little by little, stirring continuously so that the rice releases its starch and becomes creamy.
Add the reserved chicken and continue adding broth as it is absorbed, cooking the rice for a total of 15-18 minutes.

Final touch:
When the rice is ready, decorate with fresh chopped parsley on top.
