There are recipes that take you home and to childhood and this for me is one of them, that is why this month of May is my tribute to those mothers who care for us so much.
A simple recipe, traditional but full of Mediterranean flavor that you can prepare from a pot to a pan. Look how easy it is to do it in the 24cm diameter Monix® Twin Magma.

Ingredients for 3-4 people:
● 300 g chicken breast, cubed
● Extra virgin olive oil
● 1 small onion
● 2 cloves of garlic
● 50 g green pepper
● 50 g red pepper
● Salt to taste
● 2 tablespoons crushed or fried homemade tomato
● 100 ml of Brandy or white wine
● 250 g of noodles #4
● 600 ml chicken broth
● 60 g frozen peas
● Chopped fresh parsley to sprinkle


Step by Step

  1. Cut the chicken breast into cubes and season with salt and pepper. Stir to combine and set aside.
    Chop the onion, garlic and green and red pepper.
  2. Heat the pan with a splash of extra virgin olive oil and sauté the chicken.
    When it is cooked, remove and reserve.
  3. In the same pan, cook the onion with the garlic until transparent, then
    Add the green and red pepper and salt and continue sautéing. *Heat the broth
    chicken.
  4. Add 2 tablespoons of tomato and stir. Add the wine or brandy and let it evaporate.
    before continuing.
  5. Finally, add the chicken, noodles and hot broth to the pan, stir so that
    integrate and cook 5-6 minutes. Add the peas and continue cooking for another 6 minutes.
    Cover for 2 minutes with the other side of the pan and food is ready. Sprinkle chopped parsley and
    it serves. Delicious.
