Spicy prawns

Langostinos picantes

One of the star dishes this Christmas is prawns. We normally prepare them grilled with a little coarse salt and accompanied by some mayonnaise-type sauce or pink sauce. Today Raquel Carmona proposes a very exotic special recipe: spicy prawns .

Spicy prawns


  • 500g raw prawns
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon chopped ginger
  • 5 tablespoons of honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 red chili or a chilli
  • Fresh parsley
  • Olive oil


  1. We put all the sauce ingredients in a bowl. We stir and mix well.
  2. Marinate the prawns for 15-30 minutes in the sauce. To do this, we put them in a bowl or tray and drizzle with the sauce. We turn the prawns from time to time so that they take in the flavor from all sides.
  3. We put our frying pan over medium heat, add a tablespoon of oil and brown the prawns. (We drain the prawns before putting them in the pan and reserve our sauce).
  4. We take out once golden brown. Add the sauce to the same pan and reduce for 30-40 seconds, no more time will be necessary.
  5. We drizzle our prawns with the sauce and decorate with fresh chopped parsley.
