Don't worry, this will be a breeze... well, not everything will be that. Get ready to fill your hands with potatoes, but that is stress-relieving, we assure you.
"Gnocchi" are a very simple Italian recipe, suitable for dummies so you only need the desire to cook.
Time: 1 hour 30 minutes
Servings: 4 people
Difficulty: Low
Ingredients
1kg floury potato
225g flour
1 egg
Salt
Olive oil
Ketchup
fresh mint
Grated parmesan
Ground pepper
Elaboration
- We put our Titan Rock tall saucepan on the heat filled with water, add the whole potatoes with their skin, and cook with salt for approximately 40 minutes. We prick before removing to check that they are tender.
- We let it cool a little and remove the skin, pass through a food mill and let it cool.
- In a bowl we put the mashed potato, make a well in the middle and add the egg, flour, and a little salt and pepper.
- We work the dough with our hands until we have a ball with a firm and homogeneous texture.
- We form small sausages with the dough and cut the "gnocchi" to the size we prefer.
- You can form balls or also pass the fork over them to make the famous gnocchi groove.
- We flour our "gnocchi" and set aside.
- In the Titan Rock tall saucepan we boil water again, gently add the gnocchi and once they start to float, we take it out.
- We place it in our Titan Rock pan, previously greased with a little olive oil, sauté for a few minutes and add the homemade tomato sauce.
- We serve and decorate with grated parmesan and fresh chopped mint.
- Now you just have to enjoy this typical Italian dish, with Romina and Albano playing in the background.
