Preparing Japanese noodles in the wok is much easier than you think. There are infinite possibilities and combinations to prepare vegetables, rice, noodles... in a wok.
The COSMOS wok from Monix is made of forged aluminum and is suitable for all types of cookers, including induction . It has a PFOA-free nonstick surface and a stone finish on the inside. Its non-stick properties will make it even easier for you to cook your vegetables, pasta and rice in the wok.
Ingredients for 4 people
- 500g soba noodles
- Japanese mushrooms (some varieties usually come in trays in the supermarket, such as shiitake, shimeji, enoki or nameko)
- 1 red pepper
- 1 green pepper
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
Preparation
We cut the peppers into julienne strips (thin strips) and chop the mushrooms (if they are already clean we won't need to do it ourselves).
We add a couple of tablespoons of olive oil and one of sesame oil to our Monix COSMOS wok and sauté the vegetables (peppers and mushrooms).
While the vegetables are cooking, boil water in a saucepan and when it comes to a boil, add the noodles. In this case the manufacturer indicated 3 minutes but each one is different. Once they are ready (still very al dente), we drain them and put them in the wok with the vegetables, sautéing everything together.
Add a tablespoon of soy sauce, a pinch of ground ginger and stir well to integrate the ingredients.
We serve and enjoy!
