Do you want a quick, sweet and simple recipe? This is yours, a delicious orange cake for those moments when the craving for sweets is pressing and you want something quick without much effort.

Ingredients

1 orange

1 tablespoon butter

1 spoon of sugar

For the mass

1 egg

50g sugar

1 Teaspoon vanilla extract

50ml olive oil

100ml milk

120g flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

Zest of half an orange

Powdered sugar

Elaboration

  1. In our Titan Rock 20m frying pan we put the tablespoon of butter and melt it, add the tablespoon of sugar, let it brown over low heat.
  2. Meanwhile, put the egg and sugar in a bowl, beat until doubled in volume.
  3. Add the milk, oil, orange zest and vanilla, beat until mixed.
  4. Add the flour and yeast, beat until forming a smooth dough without lumps.
  5. We cut the orange into slices and put it in the bottom of the pan.
  6. We pour the dough over it, cover it and lower the heat.
  7. We let it cook little by little.
  8. We check that the cake is set on the bottom and carefully turn it over.
  9. We cook on the other side, leaving the cake covered until we check that it is ready.
  10. Remove from heat and decorate with orange zest and icing sugar.
