Rice three delights

Arroz tres delicias

Rice three delights is one of those dishes that we always remember. A simple dish to prepare, full of flavors and textures that we love. Perfect for lunch or dinner.

In addition to these ingredients you can always add the ones you like the most such as York ham, some more vegetables or flavor with a little soy sauce.


  • 400g basmati rice
  • 1-2 carrot
  • 3 eggs
  • 150g raw shrimp
  • 100g fresh or frozen peas
  • Salt
  • Extra virgin olive oil


  1. We cut the carrots into medium cubes. We put our 16cm Óptima saucepan . over heat with water and cook for 10-15 minutes until tender.
  2. We unsheath the peas if they are fresh, and once the carrot is ready, we boil the peas in that same water for 2-3 minutes. If you use them frozen they will need less time.
  3. In a bowl we beat the eggs, add a little salt and prepare in our 20cm Unique frying pan. a French omelette, we reserve.
  4. We fill the Óptima 22cm saucepan with water. and once it comes to a boil, add the rice, cook for about 10 minutes or according to the manufacturer's recommendations. We drain and reserve.
  5. We put the Unique 28cm frying pan . heat with a little olive oil and sauté the shrimp, then add the rest of the ingredients: rice, peas, carrots and the chopped tortilla.
  6. We salt and serve.
