Today we cook 3 handfuls rice, a traditional rice from the Valencian community. The first thing is to prepare a sauce with olive oil, garlic, crushed tomatoes and ñoras.
Ingredients for 4 people
2 handfuls of white beans
2 handfuls of lentils
2 handfuls of rice
(1 large handful for every 2 people)
2 cloves of garlic
250 gr of green beans
1 turnip
2 potatoes
Saffron
100 gr of crushed tomato
400 gr of chard
Ground Ñora or paprika
2'5L of water
Salt
Olive oil
Steps
- Fry the whole garlic cloves in the pot. When they start to brown, add the crushed tomatoes and the ñora pepper.
- We add the saffron, the beans, the lentils, the green beans, the turnip, the potato and the chard.
- We bring it to a boil for about 30 minutes and add the rice and let it boil for about 30 minutes and correct the salt.
