Rice pudding is a time-honored traditional recipe. Surely most of you have enjoyed this dessert thanks to your mothers or grandmothers. It is a very easy recipe to prepare since it consists of boiling rice in milk but very successful. In this case we wanted to give it a different touch by using almond milk, making it suitable for people allergic to lactose.
Ingredients:- 1 liter of almond milk
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 c/c vanilla essence
- Lemon peel
- orange peel
- 150g rice
- 100g sugar
- Almonds to garnish
- Cinnamon powder

Pour the almond milk into a large pot. Add the cinnamon stick, vanilla essence, citrus peel and let it infuse for a few minutes.
- Add the rice and stir for 30 minutes until the rice is almost ready. At this point, add the sugar and continue stirring for 5 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and remove the cinnamon and citrus peels.

Serve in individual bowls, sprinkle with cinnamon powder and garnish with some almonds.
