Meatballs are one of the most traditional dishes in our gastronomy, they are loved by both adults and children. These meatballs are made of chicken, they are very soft and with the apple sauce they couldn't be tastier. The apple is going to be the star of the sauce, it gives it a soft and sweet touch and is very easy to prepare.
We can accompany them with boiled rice or some diced French fries, the sauce that accompanies them will be the finishing touch to this delicious dish.
Ingredients: 4 people
For the meatballs:
- 600 g minced chicken meat
- 50 g breadcrumbs
- 1⁄2 glass of milk
- 1 egg
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 small garlic chopped
- Chopped parsley
- Bread crumbs
- Virgin olive oil
- Olive oil
- 1 large onion
- 2 pippin apples
- 2 tablespoons flour
- Salt
- 300 ml chicken broth
- Chopped parsley
- A little bit of salt
- For the apple sauce, put a little oil in a 28 cm low Mineral saucepan and sauté the chopped onion until soft and transparent.
- Peel the apples, cut into cubes and add to the saucepan along with the onion. Add the flour, sauté it a little and pour in the chicken broth.
- Cook over low heat for 15-20 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste and blend the sauce in a blender glass. Reserve the sauce in the same saucepan.
- Soak the breadcrumbs with the milk, when soft, drain.
- In a bowl, put the minced chicken meat together with the breadcrumbs, the egg, salt and pepper to taste and a little chopped parsley. Mix well and form the meatballs.
- Pass the meatballs through a little breadcrumbs.
- Heat a little oil in the 24cm UNICA frying pan and fry the meatballs, put them directly in the saucepan and boil them for 5-6 minutes over medium heat.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
