Desserts with fruit are always a hit. These pears in red wine are a recipe that always wins due to its attractiveness and easy preparation. The flavor of the pears after cooking in the syrup made with the wine is simply spectacular, so we recommend that you do not forget to try them because you are surely missing out on a sublime dish.
Ingredients:- 4 pears
- 500ml red wine
- 125g sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick
- The skin of an orange without white part

We peel the pears, leaving the stems, and cut the base a little so that they remain standing in the saucepan.
- We put it in the low Optima 24cm saucepan . wine, sugar, cinnamon and orange peel. We leave it on the heat and once it starts to boil and the sugar has dissolved, we add the pears.
- Cover and cook over medium heat for 20-25 minutes.
- From time to time we water the pears with the syrup so that they cook evenly.
- Once this time has passed, we check with a skewer that the pears are tender and remove from the heat.
- We reduce the syrup for a few more minutes in our saucepan.

We serve the pears on a plate or tray and pour them over with the syrup. We can accompany them with vanilla ice cream.
