Chicken breasts in butter sauce

We love simple dishes but with a different touch, these chicken breasts in butter sauce are one of them. Simple in its preparation and ingredients but with a flavor that makes you fall in love.

Chicken is one of the poultry meats that we can incorporate into very different dishes, it is a very versatile meat, it is phenomenal in our stews, in sauce, in other recipes such as empanadas, croquettes, fajitas...... in all of them It is delicious and almost everyone likes it. We hope you enjoy this recipe in your dishes as much as we do.

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 6 cloves of garlic
  • 3 shallots
  • 200ml white wine
  • 40g unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • fresh thyme
  • fresh rosemary
  • Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  1. In our 28cm Unique frying pan we put the olive oil, heat it and add the breasts, previously seasoned with salt and pepper, until they are golden brown on both sides. We take out and reserve.
  2. In the same pan we put half of the butter, the garlic and the chopped shallots. Over medium-low heat, leave until poached, they should be tender, stirring occasionally.
  3. We add the rest of the butter, the vera paprika and the wine and wait a few minutes until the alcohol evaporates.
  4. We add the breasts and aromatics to taste. You can put a few sprigs of thyme, rosemary and a teaspoon of oregano.
  5. We stir everything well and let it cook over low heat for about 10 minutes or until the sauce has reduced. We turn the breasts so that they finish cooking well.
  6. We decorate with the aromatics and serve.
