Let's get to work because we have to prepare a very comfortable dish. These spaghetti with meatballs will cause a sensation and will almost make you crazy. This dish is very tasty and even cinematic since it appears in one of the scenes of The Godfather.
Servings: 6
Difficulty: Medium
Time: 40 minutes
Ingredients
700g minced meat (beef-pork or chicken-turkey mix)
1 egg
1 slice of bread
3 tablespoons of milk
Salt
Ground black pepper
1 clove garlic
3-4 tablespoons of parmesan cheese
500g spaghetti or noodles
500g homemade tomato sauce (or canned)
Fresh parsley
Grated Parmesan to decorate
Extra virgin olive oil
Preparation
- In a bowl we combine the meat, the bread previously soaked in milk (drained), salt, pepper, finely chopped garlic, beaten egg and grated parmesan. We mix all the ingredients well and form the meatballs.
- We heat olive oil in our Diamond frying pan, fry the meatballs until golden. We take out and reserve.
- We fill our Optima pot with plenty of water, heat it and once it starts to boil we add the pasta and cook according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Meanwhile, heat the tomato sauce in the low Optima saucepan, add the meatballs and sauté for a few minutes.
- Once the pasta is ready, we mix it with the tomato sauce and the meatballs. We can add a little of the pasta cooking water to make it more juicy.
- We serve and decorate with grated parmesan and fresh chopped parsley.
