Gambas al ajillo

Garlic prawns are one of the most typical dishes of our gastronomy, easy to prepare, quick and above all delicious.

It is a perfect dish as an appetizer, one of the favorite tapas for everyone in bars accompanied by a good wine and of course bread to dip in that special oil.

Ingredients:
  • 1 kg of shrimp
  • 15 cloves of garlic
  • 2 dried chillies
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt
  • Fresh parsley
Preparation:
  1. Peel the shrimp and place on absorbent paper to remove moisture.
  2. We peel the garlic and slice it.
  3. We chop the chilli.
  4. In our Cooper frying pan we add the olive oil, cover the bottom, heat.
  5. We add the sliced ​​garlic and chillies.
  6. Stir over medium heat, once the garlic begins to turn golden, add the prawns, sauté and as soon as they change color, set aside.
  7. The trick is not to leave them too long so they don't dry out.
  8. We decorate with fresh chopped parsley and serve.
