Can you resist this dish? We are big fans of meatballs in all their versions. It is a dish that almost everyone raves about, so today we bring you this version of chicken meatballs in sauce.
We hope you like it and that you prepare the bread to dip in that sauce.
Ingredients:
For the meatballs:
- 1kg minced chicken meat
- 2 eggs
- 100g breadcrumbs
- 150ml milk
- Flour
- Parsley
- Salt
- 1 clove garlic
For the sauce:
- Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 leek
- 1 onion
- 1 red pepper
- 2 green peppers
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1 tablespoon of flour
- 600ml chicken broth
- Laurel
- Salt
- Pepper
Preparation:
- Chop the garlic and fresh parsley.
- We soak the bread crumbs with the milk.
- In a bowl we mix the meat, garlic, parsley, crumbs with milk, salt and eggs. With our hands we mix until everything is well integrated.
- We form the meatballs, coat in flour, sift to remove excess flour and fry in our 28cm Magma frying pan . plenty of oil.
- We take out on a plate with absorbent paper.
- We chop the vegetables for the sauce.
- We remove part of the oil from frying the meatballs and add the chopped vegetables for the sauce.
- Sauté until soft, add the flour, and cook for a few minutes. Next, add the broth, bay leaf, season with salt and pepper and let it cook over low heat until it reduces.
- Put the meatballs in the sauce, stir and cook for a few minutes.
- Serve and enjoy.
